Standard Q Silage

Standard Q Silage is an acid-based ensiling and feed-out preservative developed to combat aerobic spoilage in silages, particularly in high-risk areas such as the top layer, lateral zones, bunker faces, and poorly compacted sections.

Its formulation provides immediate acidification of the silage mass, effectively suppressing spoilage microorganisms including yeasts, molds, lactate-fermenting bacteria, and Acetobacter spp. Unlike biological inoculants, Standard Q Silage does not rely on fermentation conditions such as moisture level or fermentable sugar availability, ensuring rapid and reliable action.

The product improves aerobic stability during storage and feed-out, reduces dry matter losses, enhances digestibility, improves feed conversion ratio (FCR), and lowers the risk of mycotoxins and endotoxins—leading to improved animal performance and higher production yields.

Standard Q Silage can be applied both:

• At ensiling, especially in exposed or poorly compacted areas
• During feed-out, sprayed directly on the silage face to prevent heating and spoilage

Due to its optimized formulation, the product is effective while remaining low-corrosive.
